There is a problem with the PSP that Sony will not help PSP owners with: Crashes. If you bought a PSP on EBay, despite the condition it is in, then Sony really won't help you. They will tell you the only thing you can do is replace it with a refurbished system for $89. Like I'm going to trade in something that has a somewhat tolerable glitch for an older system that may have real problems after paying $200 for the device in the first place. Seeing as how I have NEVER dropped my PSP, NEVER made any homebrews or modifications (yet), and the device has NO dings, scratches, removed lables (s/n#s), bad power supply (battery or charger), broken parts, or any of the cliche scripted responses that Sony tried to us an excuse, they still did not explain why the device would freeze up. A Crash or "freeze up" occurs when a light flickering on the screen is acompanied by the inablity to move the cursor or press any buttons. Since I'm on my own at this point, how I do to resolve PSP crashes?

as long as you shop it in a properly ventilated section and not use it too long(8-10hrs) with out taking a ruin you should be fantastic. The preliminary issues have been fixed however the overheating factor continues to be a threat that each and one and all xbox 360 proprietors face.
