Why does my 3DS XL keep crashing on me?! I'm so frustrated!?

The past few months I've noticed my 3DS XL has been acting strangely. It originally started in Kid Icarus Uprising. My game freezes for a few seconds out of the blue then brings up a message which says that an error occurred and the system had to forcefully shut down the software and had to restart itself. The issue started happening in multiple games so I know the problem isn't with the cartridges. I own five 3DS games (all physical copies). Four out of the five have crashed at some point. Those four are Kid Icarus Uprising, Animal Crossing New Leaf, A Link Between Worlds, and most recently Fire Emblem Awakening. The only game that has never crashed was Ocarina of Time 3D. I honestly don't understand why this is happening. I'm the kind of person who likes to keep his stuff in very good condition. I've never dropped or damaged my 3DS XL in any way (as far as I've known).

Here's the list of how frequently each game crashes:

1. Kid Icarus Uprising (every time, impossible to even get through a single level)

2. Fire Emblem Awakening (frequently)

3. A Link Between Worlds (occasionally, but used to do it all the time)

4. Animal Crossing New Leaf (rarely)

Fire Emblem is my newest game, which I just got last night as a birthday present. It crashed during the intro the first time I turned it on and still struggles to get past it whenever I turn on the game. The screen always shows signs before it happens. The image either begins to break up or a strange green coloring appears on screen.

Although, I can recall that my 3DS games started crashing shortly after an inexperienced lady at GameStop did my system transfer from my original 3DS to my XL. I remember the transfer was incomplete because she didn't tell me that I had to remove the old SD card. There seems to be a connection between my games crashing and the system transfer. This issue started happening right after the transfer. I think that largely had something to do with this.

well, you could go for reformat your 3ds at settings

or check for updates if both doesn't help.

sent for repair or warranty
